LET'S GO AHEAD AND CREATE A NICHE SITE!

How about... just for fun, you pretend that you are actually creating a website with NEB. I mean, not all the pieces of the puzzle are completely in place yet, but enough of them are that you can get a real feel for how it is going to work and how it will feel creating a site with NEB.

Are you game? Ok, then, let's get started.

The first thing you are going to want to do, after you have conducted your Market Research, is fill in your Project Info. So you will click on this button and you will be brought to the following screen. Hey, nothing too scary about this is there? You only have one button to push!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

When you push the Project Description button, you get the Project Details page. This page should take you only a minute or two to fill out. All you need to put in are the site name, the domain name and project details.

The site name is the Title you will give your website. So, for instance, let's say we are creating a site about dogs. If we are not too imaginative, we might call it: All About Dogs. And our domain name might be, okay, hang on to your hats, AllAboutDogs.com. (Yes, I know, it's probably not available, because somebody else with a lack of imagination already snapped it up) but remember this is just for fun:-)

(Actually, looking at this, it occurs to me that we probably should have a domain name search tool right below the domain name box, so you will not have to go elsewhere to search for your domain name availability. This will definitely be incorporated into the final version of NEB.)

As for Project Details, you can type in anything or leave it blank. It it totally UP TO YOU!

Oh, and should you have any questions about any step along the way, that is what the little orange italicized i s are for. Quick and easy descriptions or explanations. Click on the one to the right of Project Details and here is the explanation that will pop up:

NEXT STEP. Well, actually, we probably should have done this first, but with NEB, it really doesn't matter. Let's go ahead and get some doggie keywords. I am not going to review the keyword research process again, since we just went over it on the previous page.

Type in dog related keywords in Keyword Dynamo. Add the resultant list to your Master Keyword List.

Use or pre-made keyword lists to come up with additional related keywords. Add to Master Keyword List.

Once you have gotten a pretty good list. Move on. Don't stress over this. REALLY! There are some folks out there that would have you devoting days and days to keyword/market research. I say you are better off devoting more of your time to creating quality CONTENT around the keywords that you have selected. And to creating a site that is easy to navigate, so that folks who come to your site can easily access the exact information they are looking for. And the search engines can find it readily enough as well.
